Caution: students who cheated on carbon footprint calculation!

'Why aren't we saveing the planet?' is a new book wrote by Geoffrey Beattie and is published June this year.  The book is using the method of detective spies to find out who is really 'Green' . It is quite surprise that the  psychology can connect to environmental issues.

Although I just joked that the book introduced a  new and innovative spy-detective tool,  one of the aims of the book seeks to focus on how to change the atitudes to environment and how to encourage sustainable behaviour.  Alternative approach of SC see consumers as pivotal to helping solve global warming, climate change, but bring them (include myself) on board may be very complex and time-consuming process.  The psychologist's perspective may work as questionnaire to collect public's attitude about the environment and then decision-makers can use the data.

  1. Sounds like an interesting book, although the Big Brother culture is alarming!
